The only video was shot by the spyker factory truck. I'll see if I can get any. I will have to download the pics when I get home on Saturday. I'm at the Oakland airport now.

Killer track. If those cars do the times you mention stock, then I do feel I can take the C32!!!

That is awesome!

I ran a 1:41 in my old ITB car 84 VW GTI.
I also ran a 1:28 in a Vision tuned 911 turbo (as a passenger) does that count?

Happy Thanksgiving guys!

Dont get so cocky yet jangy. Battled it out with an SL55 030 package last time and well it was a bit of work but he eneded up pointing me by after realing him in. I have an SL55 non 030 package and it will kick the E55's rear end every which way. That car actually understands what a corner is and how to go through it!

I stick to my point than the track is not all about power and an 4100 lb car is not that great a item for a road course.

I doubt an E55 will run a 1:35 any day of the week and this froma guy who has owned one for 3 years and tried to make it turn but simply gave up.

For reference a Z-06 with a good driver (bone stock) runs a 1:28-1:29 at big willow. So the Z-06 you played with was driving by gradma end of story.

Haha, it wasn't my grammy but who knows. Your home turf, so tell me when and where and we can get it on.

SL55 takes an E55 any which way?!?!?! LOL.

I was beyond shocked when the E500 posted that time at the track. But it really was a fast car. 7g is always in the right gear and always keeps the motor boiling just right. Its suspension was soft but it takes set and really just goes through the corners like a champ. It did take a little getting used to but I managed to scare plenty of people that day! It just floats through 8 instead of bouncing over the many bumps down low -- so silky smooth!

I think the best was the NSX Comptech that kept holding me up in the corners, giving me the point by on the straight, only to take off and drag race me down into turn 1. I finally just took him out going into 8 and risked getting lectured by the track officials. In reality the man who puts on the events came over and laughed at the NSX for being so slow.

Like I say its all driver as the NSX should have cleaned my clock.

I sense animosity toward Jangy's exploits. Do you guys not get along or are you looking to challenge him to a track event?

Haha, Cyn and I go back. It isn't animosity. It is just boys being boys. We need to set up a good track day / meet. We can get all makes and brands and settle this out. It will only lead to more excuses, but i love the look on everyone's faces when a Mercedes with a Baby seat takes out their track prepped cars....

No, the MBs were in a "hiding" spot that nobody was allowed to see. They had been there on display at the races a week before. MB came to pick them up while we were there, so I got to take a close look and a spin in the parking lot. It was a CL550.

Saw those there when i was at the track weeks ago. They were used in a press even at the small track then the big track the next day.

They are gone now. Just a bunch of toyota pace cars left over.

Anyone know what model Ferrari that is? i didn't ask, but it was the LOUDEST car I have heard in a while (including the F1 rides). The car also looked VERY fast on the track.

Last thing, anyone know about the F1 in the foreground? I wonder how old it is. I also wonder what it is / about to be worth since Michael is about to retire?

They run the toyota driving school at willow so there are always the pace cars there for that reason. The drivers in the celebrety race at the Long Beach Grand Prix are trained at that school before the big race.

CL is odd looking. Not the biggest fan of that car. CLS63 is really nice however.

360 Stradalie (spelling?)

Likely has a tubi exhaust.

Not a challenge car as it as normal glass windows and an interior.
