Met a few people out at Moroso this evening.... nice and cool... very crowded so I only did 3 runs.... last run was a good one, ran 11.66 @ 120.41 with a 1.76 60' on Michelin PS2s. Car has RENNtech ECU and Pulley.

Great time Fikse - congrats - amazing what the Renntech pulley and ECU has done for your car. And on th driving side - nice 60ft time too.

IIRC its knocked of 0.3+ secs and given you 4+ mph in the 1/4 - thats a big improvement over your stock times (which were really fast to start with)

Sorry I missed the cold snap - I really need to get some respectable times on my CLS55

We had 3 renntech E55's there, and we were all in in the 11's....

I have another video of the white one, forget his member name here, of him smoking the tires all the way through the 1/8 mile.... ET wasn't that good, but fun to watch...

Nice run! Congrats on the times. I hope for those kind of times tomorrow (if it stops raining!). Thats an amzing time on street tires!

AMGKing- There are 2 people that I know of in he 10's. Malcolm out here in MD ran 10.58 and DerekFSU also was in the 10's. Both were on the bottle though. Malcolm did run a 11.01 off the bottle, close but not close enough!

I'm assuming you do not have an aftermarket LSD installed? Great time!! I would expect that from a lot more than just ECU and pulley!

I was the one with the burnout 1/2 way down the track... Ran a 15.** on that run heheh but the next one got me a 11.89. It was fun, met a few members on the board including Fikse, Neihouma ( thanks for the backup ) Also a special thanks to Steve SGC who drove my car down the track to get it to run the 11.89 and also get me 1 extra run ( P.S. why do you carry shoe polish ?? heheh ) and another member whos board name contained monk but I couldn't remember Shout out to you too ! Didn't get to see your last run hope it was good....

Car Settings:

Dyno Mode
Transmission Sport Mode, downshifted to show 1st gear on the dash
Suspension in Comfort Mode
Rear tires at 27 psi, fronts as 32 psi
AC off, COMAND off

I pull around the water box so I don't get the front tires wet and bring water up to the starting line, then back in to water with the rear tires only, pull forward about 6 feet and stop the car. Put the car in first gear. Hold the brake and bring up the throttle for the burn out. Get the tires spinning holding RPM's at around 3.5-4k until I can see the smoke out my drivers side window. Let off the brakes and let the car start to move forward while letting off the throttle. The car should move forward slowly and then start to grab and get traction.

Then I hit the throttle a bit to dry hop the car and see if it's grabbing the track. Pull up and stage "in the groove". I hold the brake and rest my foot on throttle (no pre-loading). To launch I lift off the brake while going about 1/4 throttle, as the weight shifts to the rear and I feel the car grab I quickly and smoothly apply full throttle.....

Fikse - OMG, can't believe you were there. I sold my blue evo IX and bought a C55. Couldn't keep the Benz from blowing the tires off. Best was a 13.3@105. I am so used to revving to 6800rpm on the 2 step and letting it rip. Gotta learn to drive all over again. How ya been?
