So my belt snapped!!! WTF
I'm not really that mad but curious as to why it happened. Only have 54k on the car. Was doing about 70 or 75, and light came on saying check alternator / battory see service. Pulled to the side of the road. Power steering was gone, poped the hood, and sure enough the belt was ripped to threads. Dont know why but oh well. I work at mb dealer so i'm not that upset, but unsure what the labor time is for replacing belt? Anybody know? The part is only $42.00 Go figure right.

it's very simple if you want to do it yourself. I would say labor time is probably 15 minutes.
1. One rachet and one belt.
2. Route the belt
3. Release the tensioner then slip the final part of the belt on.
4. Check to make sure belt is seated properly
