S55 v E55

What is the difference in the engines? I see that the S55 has more horsepower.

There are exhaust restrictions on the E55 that "supposedly" reduce the hp but the dynos have shown this not to be the case.

Give the overall weight of the E55 of 3,990 lbs versus the S55 4,390 lbs is there a significant difference in 0-60 and 1/4 mi times?
