CCW offsets??
HELP!!! Or I will never buy rims!!

The interesting thing though is the angle of the side wall ... for example 285 9.5x19's with 31 offsett juuust catch the fender on max compression ... something which a minor fender roll will cure easily ... 275 have a shallower angle and tuck under the fender neatly no problem - with a 10" rim you will also have a steep angle so my guess is a 38 offset and you'r set ... but its gonna be squeezy regardless of rim ...
There is another guy in my area that liked my set up, so he put the exact same combo on his 2004 E55. He is experiencing rubbing on the inside of the tire. He bought his wheels direct from CCW.
This rubbing takes place at stock height. I don't think there will be room for a 10.5 inch wheel but I think you could delicately balance in the 10 inch with a 295. It still may rub at times under load. I now run 285s with the car lowered and no problems ever.

Can you please get me the offset on yours?? I would love to know how far IN I can go, and it sounds like yours is just a tad too far. Perhaps a few mm less than yours will work?

i have a set of street classics, 18x12rear and 18x10 in front on my vette... most rims in that size need some sort of tubbing, but the offset was perfectly made for mine such that no tubbing was needed! i am a happy camper with CCW, they have top quality products!

I do remeber, and I thank you for your help. I just wanted to be positive, since it looks like CCW is becoming a very viable option.
Sorry for the redundancy. I'm just making sure.
The E55 is heavy, so most recommend only getting high load tires. It all has to do with how you use em. If you are going to put lots of hot miles on at once, then you want heavy load, or the tires will blister fast. If all you do is bursts of load then regular load heat up faster.
