i took my cls63to the dealer to check if there is an oil leak,, since i got two messages within the first 2000 miles "check oil level at next refueling." The dealer came back to me today; his reply was that there is a leak somewhere in the engine and they don't know the real cause!! The car had to stay at the dealer
Any idea on how serious this problem is?? Thanks in advance.

Oh-Oh ... well could be minor but could also be serious ... dff to say - if they cannot find the leak then it sounds internal ... if so then its probably not going to be good news.

Hold thmbs mbe its just some gasket / pipe tahts opened up... could also be piston rings still seating and getting some seepage ...

I received the same message several times within the first 1,500 miles. Did you actually check your oil level? I checked the oil level every time I saw the message and oil level was fine. I also checked for leaks and did not find anything. My dealer told me that the sensor is very sensitive. Bla, bla, bla…I haven’t seen the warning since about 1,500 (I’m at 2,800 now).
