E55 & E63 Exhaust Systems

Does anyone know if these are the same...specificaly the lates 2006 E55 and the new 2007 E63. I am just curious if these newer exhaust systems have been modified at all or have any differences in fitment. Thanks guys.

An '06 E55 (like mine) will NOT sound like an '07 E63, even with the '07 exhaust. Keep in mind that the E63 is a high compression engine and that definitely plays into the tone.

You should hear one that has had the resinators removed (like 03C4s'), it sounds absolutely sweeeet.

Yeah, I second that.

Thanks for the reply! I am aware of the facts that you listed...I am not concerned with sound at all, just if the two exhaust systems are exactly interchangable from a fitment stand point.

E63
I had a local muffler shop cut mine off my 63 for $30.00. It is a one piece unit. Two in two out. Sounds quite a bit better. I am still getting an Eisenhaus street unit for it though. I am hoping that the combination of the resonator removal and the addition of the exhaust will satisfy my lust for a little more sound.
