I know on my old M3 it took some force to close them. I don't want to break them by doing that.

they look like they ought to, but i've tried gentle force and it's pretty clear that they'll just break off if you push too hard.

Thanks for the reply... The reason I asked, I saw an S class at the mall and both mirrors were closed. I did noticed the inside of the mirrors are coved so I think its done by a motor.

SteveNL installs folding side mirrors for CLS & E 55s & 63s. I just had them installed on a cls 63, and they look great.

The mirrors on all 2007 E-Class fold manually. I believe they will fit on older W211 models. Probably $$$$$$$$$ though.

Hiding out in Indianapolis racing around in my Honda Fit.

I'll be back in Cali for the holidays though. Then next year I'll bring the beast back with me to Indy.

Gotta do some work out here to build a good foundation for myself. I hope to be back in Cali soon.

yes, steve will sell the euro power mirrors or whatever they are, and of course, the 07 mirrors are foldable. of all the nonsense in the world, though, for my $93k window sticker, the mirrors should at least be manually foldable. and i'm not interested in a lecture on how much great techno crapola is in this car to supposedly justify the price (face it, that shiny 3-point star is what justifies most of the asking price to most people). even my '86 volvo 740 had folding mirrors. it's really not too much to ask!

I got the convex mirrors as well. Is your steering wheel an MP Design? I installed one on a cl 55 and a cls 55 and am now installing one on the 63.
