Rear Rims up front - anyone besides Jangy?

Anyone besides the Jangster running the OEM AMG rear rims up front?

Any feedback? Any unusual wear (cupping, feathering)?

Anyone?

Bueller?

I know you don't want my feedback, but you will find NO issues what so ever!!

I'm still after an 9.5 inch AMG style IV to replace the rear with. For now, it is 18X9 et39 all around.

LOL!

It's not that I didn't want your feedback; your comments are already noted.

I'm just looking for a larger sample group.

Why would you? 265s up front? Takes away from the car's agileness no?

Not at all. It does make the steering heavier up front, but the car actually follows the leans instead of pushing during hard cornering. I actually run 275s up front.

Easy experiment for those that don't believe. Simple put your rears on the front and fronts on the rear and drive around. I guarantee you will love the handling aspect. The rear will obviously spin more since it has less meat, but the fronts make a huge difference.

I am about to do it but my steering rack is a early 2004 version and it is heavy as heck with oem tire sizes. With 265 i fear it will be undriveable. I tried SL55 wheels with 255 tires up front and the steering was very firm and 265 on 9 inch wheels is 1 step farther.

I need tires BIG time but I cant make up my mind on what sizes to buy.

Jangy,

Want to do it, but no response from the feelers on a set of rear E63 oem wheels.

will keep spreading the word, if anyone knows anyone that is getting aftermarket rims for their E63, I am interested in acquiring the rear stock rims.

Tx in advance.
