Here are a few pics I took of my new AMG. I was not fortunate enough to have an E55, so I really can't compare the two cars, however, my last car was a '02 CLK55, and there is no comparison between the two vehicles...love the ride....

the only thing i dislike on these cars are the vents in the sides of the front bumpers... very civic-ish. i like it all smooth... just my opinion though.

I had to put a front license plate on...bumper was drilled for one.......
actually the color was my wifes choice, I am a silver/black type of guy, but she wanted to try another color...glad I went with white...the reason for the frown...I tried and tried to get the pics right...and still I %&$#@* up...oh well. This is my first pano roof...really cool.....all in all very satisfied with it, now if I could just get a few more ponies out of it....!!!!!

 

That's the first white E63 I've seen. I sat in the silver color at the auto show. The dealer black but it was waiting for it's owner so no test drive! Dam! I like my E55 but I think this is the new E AMG for me to own. have fun with it!

Are front plates required in your state? if not, I would have the dealer replace the bumper for ruinning it.

But I told them, you drill into it, you can keep the car.

u should have told them to repair the holes on front bumper or no deal. that's what i did when i bought my ML500.

 

I live in Tennessee and purchased the car in Texas, where front plates are required.....outside of geting a new bumper, taking it to a body shop and having them fix it, I just thought it would be less expensive to go the way of an AMG front plate.
