EVOSPORT installs them all the time so they would be a great place to start. Talk to Mike or Brad.

May wanna give him a call. I talked to him a few months ago and he was a real nice guy. Said the Quaife LSD was one of the more easy LSDs he has ever installed.
Loving mine ROCKET....it's incredible!!!

I recently had a Quaife Limited Slip Diff installed in my '04 E55. The install (along with all other mods) was performed by HP Autowerks in Santa Barbara. The quality of their work and attention to detail is magnificent.

Anyone know what the labor hours are and what type of equipment is needed?
I will look into who does these types of jobs in SD, as I will not (but need it).
Anyone know of a mod friendly dealer that would do the work? I'd pay to play there with warranty and all.

I paid $500.00 to have mine put in by my mechanic. PM me and I will give you the name and number of my mechanic up here in the Bay Area. Whom ever you decide to take it to make sure they replace the bearings. This is a MUST!!!!

What up brother. Hope all is well with you. I'm still up to no good. I've piled so much on the wagon that it is getting tough to move it. This year should be a fun one with all the mods!!

I think it's funny that Renn is coming out with gears. In all honesty, a certain someone down there at Renn in Florida (name withheld) all but did a stand up routine on me when I asked about doing 2.82 gears in my car.
For now, feel like I am doing time....sitting here with one of the few 2.82 geared E55's in the world and I am just sitting waiting for.....
1) Spring.....6 More Inches of Snow predicted next 48 hours and I have RA1's on for driving.
2) Wife health...still not 100%
Meantime...I take an hour or 2 a week and go out and kill the hell outta people to vent some frustration. Lots of hyped up/tweaked Diesel Truck Mountain Men up here.....they are so friggin aggresive, and just a blast to KILL!!! 12 inch diameter exhaust all pouring smoke and crap....heh heh.

The race bearings. They are about $60.00 a piece. It is the cheapest $120.00 you will ever spend. A lot of shops who do rear ends dont change them. That is the dumbest thing they can do. All it takes is for them to scratch the bears while either diassembling or assembling and your toast.

Highly reccomended:

Incredible shop, these guys are serious pros. Not sure what they'll charge, but they were very competitive on price for some custom diff work I had done on a previous car. And one thing for sure, they'll do it right. A+ quality work.
Good luck,
Skeeter

Hey hows my long lost brother. I was starting to go through withdrawls. Things are getting better slowly. I should have the SLR cams and throttle body installed by the end of the month.
Then I "NEED" to get started back onto the projects I was telling you about. Of course I am going to need as much help from you as possible.
How are the brakes coming along. man do i love the wider tires. Even in the rain she handles like shes on rails. And yes she can still do the 200 foot burnouts.

Nice!! I may want you to "make" me a set of those rears, if you don't mind.
The brakes are almost there. We will know this month. I have been getting a little involved in the control arms, which brings the whole caliper thing into play. Also, Brembo is pretty much willing to sell a set of rotors and calipers for the same price as developing replacement rotors, so we'll see.
On a side note, could you duplicate a set of solid sway bars, if I get a prototype, or is that something that takes a special tool?
Day by day, bro. Day by day!!
