E55-2005
Question +300 km/hr tires??

It is time to replace my tires. My speed limit changed to 324 km/hr in my otherwise standard 2005 E55. Current tires and wheels are standard as well. Occasionally I play in the 290 to 307 km/hr region for short times . It is time to upgrade to +300 km/hr tires.

What do you guys recommend considering; traction, noise and cost? I am not changing the wheels though.

Regards

Mercedes Benz
The only tire really capable of those speeds is the special high speed version of the Continental SportContact2. It can be found at the tire rack and it is designed for top speed driving.

If I can recall correctly it does come in a size for the E55.

Take a look.
