First kill in the E55..

First kill in the E55..
Ive had my car well over a couple months now, and have yet to get into it with another car. That all changed lastnight on my way home from work. Im just minding my own business when i see a red Nissan 350 pass me, then get on his brakes hard to slow next to me.. At first i figured, the hell with it, just a stock nissan, no nedd to waste my time..Then he took off, and it took off hard..now im interested.. so i catch up to him and he nails it again, and thats when i could hear the beautiful turbo sound, and blow-off valve.. Now its on. we get next to each other at around 40-50 mph, and we nail it.. I jumped ahead at least 4 cars, but he hung right there, no gaining, and im not losing him. that till around 110 when i see my lead start to increase substantially.. so i shut down around 140ish. He catches up some time later, and get this..HE GIVES ME THE FINGER!!! Guess he was upset he spent all that money under the assumption, he would never have this happen to him.. Oh well!! Was a great adrenalin rush, wanted to share with the communtiy on my virgin kill..

Thanks guys.. In my M3, i would constantly get approached by kids trting to prove something, then when you decline to run them, they start the ***** talking.. NJ is the worst for this! Im always up to getting together with fellow enthusiasts for a friendly run. especially 287. I used to top out my M3 there all the time..

More and more people are starting to turbo their 350's now, so you'll encounter all kinds of people with turbo'ed 350's these days (especially since the prices on TT kits have dropped a bit from 2-3 years ago). The guy was either running low boost or was running the out-of-box tune (not recommended), which is what I don't understand with some of these people... If you spend all that money on the kit, then spend $500 more and tune it right with more boost.
