Will do. I'm definitely calibrated to stock E55s.

Many tuners use the guise of customer service to cover up issues. If they are quick enough and responsive enough, then issues don't get posted and therefore we get no real trend analysis.
I wouldnt expect a bulletin over the issue, but more of a word of mouth ordeal from actual customers that can verify it.Im all for it,but then again Im not really too concerned because Im not planning any ecu tunes here in the near future.I am curious though, cant lie about that one.

You have any ECU mods? Do you know what the flash version (part number) was or the explanation?

How would your service manager have anything to do with an MBUSA related ECU flash??

When my bone stock '05 was in for its 10K service a few weeks ago, it got reflashed without my consent. I show up to pick up the car, look at the service invoice and say WTF? My service writer says he will make a note in my file to contact me before doing future flashes without my knowledge. Yeah, right.

Problem is my car is CPO'd and if MB tells me I need a flash to maintain my extended CPO warranty (valid thru 12/2011), then guess what? I'm SOL and I'll let 'em flash the MF. End of story.

I didn't have a "before" dyno, but the car feels as strong or stronger than ever.

E55 (for sale if the right offer comes along)...too many others to list
My SA told me a couple of weeks ago when my car was in, that it had a new software recall. He didn't know what the upgrade was. It could be nothing!! Some of the upgrades are good even with mods. A couple of months ago, I was missing a software upgrade to tell the back battery to recharge the front one. No wonder my battery kept running out of juice? LOL

BTW..John is the best tech ever!

As much as I like John, I may have myself a tech for life!! I've never been able to leave my car somewhere and be fully comfortable with the care it is getting. i dropped it off today and am FULLY satisfied. Definite candidate for some presents!! Oh yeah, the SA he works with is just as helpful. Now, if I could get a good deal on new cars there, I'd be done.
