specs

Specs..

I think it is a plug and play for the Ford GT..
Notice the harness sockets. You would need that harness to make it work for a 55 plus it looks a little big with the computer board and all.

here are the specs.

Stewart Components has developed an Electric Water Pump. This lightweight, robust pump provides features and benefits not currently available in any other electric water pump. Stewart's Electric Water Pump has a 10,000+ hour lifespan and includes universal remote mounting with single speed flow up to 55 GPM. These pumps are available anodized in red or black,(cool) and are set to revolutionize the performance racing industry.

Dual water pumps

I wonder if there would be any benefit of adding a 2nd water pump to the system..

One could easily be placed on the outlet side(drivers side) of the intercooler. Open space and easy plumbing also.

I wonder if a bad pump interupts the flow so that the other pump would not be able to take up the slack. If the original pump did not stop flow when it failed then the other would save the shutdown problem and High IAT's and when both pumps were working properly the IAT's could be lower(maybe) than with a single pump.
