Vin check for options?

This is my first post on the board. I have had a c43 since 99 and selling my 996 911. Im trying to get into a 2003 e55. The problem is that the car is located couple hours away and I wanted to check and verify options before I look at the car. When I bought the porsche the guy insisted he had hids but when I check the factory codes from porsche I knew that they were not on the car. He thought they were because he said that they were really bright ? Is there a way I can check for the e55? I want to know for sure before hand so I can evaluate the deal on the car. I have the VIN number. Can I ask my local dealer?

Thanks
Vince

Send me the VIN via PM and I'll see if I can look it up for you.

Works for cars built until mid 2005, so he should have no problem with a 2003 lookup.
