The deposits are to be sent by anyone that wants an engine cover.. regardless if they are getting the package deal or just the cover..

Once the airtubes are ready to roll I'll take separate deposits for those.

They are different covers... I am working on E63 stuff now also.. We've got a CLS63 that we are going to use for fitment testing on a few different products.

How about fitment on E63?

Got confirmation that the airtubes will have to be done separately for certain models... The CLS & E class share the same airtubes, but the SL & S will need different ones.

We are starting with the E class airtubes first (since my car is an E and the majority are E class owners anyways). Once those are done, we'll rent another SL and do the airtubes on those.

Deposits for engine cover have come in but quite a few people still have not sent it in.. Please guys.. get them done as soon as you can.

Hi Vic,

I need to get you my deposit (and I will ) but can you give us an idea on delivery of the covers. Also, any idea on the time frame for the tubes?

Engine covers are in process right now.. 4 - 6 weeks to get them back in my hands so its a end of March beginning of April delivery.

The airtubes we are in the process of doing the engineering and CAD work.. They will follow afterwards and that is why I havent asked for deposits on those just yet.. I want to firm up the information and delivery before I take any money.

Engine covers are at the composites shop and being worked on.. Should have delivery schedule soon.. All 50+ units will be arriving at the same time so they will all go out together.

The airtube designs have been finalized. They are on the way to the composites shop and will start working on them soon.. Not sure if it will be done in parallel to engine cover or if they have to wait until one is done to start the other.. I'll get some projected delivery dates for you guys.

How did I miss this? I need some tubes to go with the airbox. Will the tubes be insulated to keep the nasty heat out? I'm guessing the size of the tubes will be larger and equal size as opposed to the stock restricted drivers side. Will there be new hardware to mount them to the front of the car?

CF Airtube possible ETA?

VRUS, I know you are swamped but I was just wondering when we could expect delivery of th CF airtubes.......so we can then focus on your upgraded intercooler or heat exchanger project.

The tubes are insulated just like the airbox.. it will keep the heat away..

if you want a set, please make sure you send in your deposit.

Jack.. I dont show you as having an Airbox on order.. Is it just the tubes you want?

The production run has started.. Delivery is 4 weeks out.. All 30 sets of Airtubes and engine covers will arrive together.

The run is more than half sold out already.

If you want a set send in the deposit and I'll add your name to the list.

Yes, just the airtubes. I ended up getting an airbox from someone else...which I regret.

Thanks. FYI, I put a $300 deposit on the CF Tubes on February 15th (and $150.00 deposit on the shift paddles on April 22)
