Let me know if you need to get that fixed! In the south bay... South Valley is a top-notch auto repair shop. My friend works there and says that they do some of the best there... A lot of cars that he fixes... you sometimes cant tell its been fixed. Even when he's got to cut and weld panels on like for MB.
Oh yea, their paint jobs are guaranteed for life! My friend got one on his M5 for 6K. Had it for 2 years or so and no problems with the paint.

Thanks again for you comfort everyone!
So i was going around 40mph look over to my passenger side for a couple seconds and bam. I feel my car stop, my seatbelts just lock on me, and my car crumpled in the front. Mercedes are truly safe.
I was wondering how much this will cost and if my engine will be okay. From what you guys see do you think my engine will have problems later in the future?

Did you hit a truck?
The bumper looks like it didn't take a hit, so that explains the airbags not going off.
Too hard to tell from the pics if you have damage. Considering that you didn't use the bumper, it looks like you didn't hit that "square". Looks like you crawled under it. I would worry more about suspension than motor, but alignment of the entire driveline is at question.
Count your blessings, bro. I don't believe in god, but maybe that cross you got hanging brought some luck.

Looks like the radiator support and hood took most of the lick. I seriously doubt you suffered any engine, suspension, or driveline damage, but definately have it checked out.
Now is a very good time to upgrade to the
E63 headlights and bumper, while your at it facelift the trunk and call it a day. Take full benefit of the insurance claim. Post pics after it is fixed with the fresh look...

Ouch. That bites. I'm not a car insurance rep or bodyshop, but you're looking at least $4000 for replacing the damaged parts...bumper, hood, upper radiator support, brackets, cooling systems, headlights, latches, intake tubes, grill, horn, radiator (maybe still okay) etc. Basically, you have to take it apart and remove all the broken parts, then put it back together. Then, add another $2000-3000 for miscellaneous parts, labor, painting, etc. My guess, $8000 at least. With a good bodyshop, it will look good as new.

Hmmm... do a search in this forum for a good body shop in Norcal. Couple members have asked couple times....
And I always said: EMC Collission in Fremont (Albrae St).
(I think I should start charging them for promoting their business
)
Good luck!

You may try that approach, you may have better luck keeping the estimate for original parts and hopefully they overshoot the estimate. Make friends with the bodyshop get them to order these parts, or order them yourself. Then you can be the second person here to own a special E55 "signature series"...

I am an Insurance agent, and yes your car is damaged, but if I had to guess you'll or your insurance would be looking at around $16k damage. I would think it can be fixed just fine, it doen't appear to be a major accident, so I would guess your beast will be breathing again in about 20 days! Make sure you push for an MBUSA approved shop more than E63 parts! A MBUSA shop might be able to pursaded to put the E63 parts on regardless of what's being paid, they don't care what you do to your car as long as they get paid! After all your insurance pays you to fix your car... good luck!

That sucks man. Sorry to hear/see.
too bad you're not closer to SoCal. As much as I hate FJ they do have hands down the best body shop anywhere. My buddy's car looked better than new after a very similar crash ($27K in damages).
