YOU'LL HAVE TO GO WET! 75 should be fine. do a search theres a couple of us who are running NOS(myself included) I'm dry. you'll have to go wet because of your ecu tune.

I would definitely say wet, there are a couple of E's running around with wet kits. I would not go over a 100 shot.

As long as your A/F ratio looks good you will be safe.

I have a 75 wet shot on my CLK500. My engine isn't as strong as yours and I've already gone through a couple of bottles with no problems. Go for it! I'd say to keep it under 100. Maybe you could pull off a 125. And if your going with a 75 shot its definitely safe for street racing. I'm really thinking about going up to a 100 shot myself. Good luck.

With this much done to your beast???
Any dyno or track #'s??
We all say our cars are beasts......but the #'s are more indicative of where we are on the "food chain"

Please respect this, but if you have to know...then email me.

? for JAMUSA

I have a question for Jamusa.

Do you run in dyno mode when using your nitrous?

I would think that if ESP kicked on when on the bottle(which probably would happen even at 60mph) then it would cut fuel and would be a big problem with the nitrous spraying and cause a large backfire.

Is that right? or does esp not affect the fuel or throttle plate?

I'm thinking of adding a nos-5115 kit and it seems safe but the thought of having to go to dynomode everytime I used it would be a hassle.

Oh, also do you mind telling what jets you are using?? 46-22?

I know you can turn esp off but doesn't it still activate sometimes. I would want to be sure it did not come on...hence dyno-mode.

To answer your question,no i do not run in dyno mode........I also run with the esp on...if i dont ,i have no traction whatsoever.
The funny thing is although the esp light keep flashing, the car keep on pulling.
I just receive my ecu back from Corey at Kleemann a few days ago,the car is making well over 500rwhp,and spin through 1st and 2nd with esp on.
Luckily for me i have the Kleemann LSD set up,b/c even without nos and esp on the rear wheel( ps2) wants to break loose.
There are quite a few on this site that is running Kleemann K4 package, that has the same file as i have and seeing well over 500rwhp.

Wet is the way to go....and i would not go over 100 shot..
The e55 has a tendancy to run pig rich, and run a 9:1 compression ratio,so in theory you should be ok.
I have seen guys run 175 shot with no problem, but they have -2% taken out of their timing.
