Red Calipers???
I found a '03 E55 Silver on Black with 42K miles still under factory warranty... Keyless go, parktronic, pano..... REALLY clean car... only thing is.... It's got RED calipers.... I dont like that very much (think its too much rice for this chinese guy).... What do you guys think???

Custom painted factory calipers?
I think it'd be hot if you slap on some black wheels. If you really like the car, get it. Don't let the color of its calipers stop you. You can always trade it to someone who wants red calipers if it really needs to.

48.5K out the door... Warranty til 9/07... Anyone in the Bay Area wanna trade calipers?

Anyone know what kinda grill that is? I'm not a big fan of the front license plate though.... but if i take it off, there's going to be scratches and holes in the front bumper...

My factory calipers were painted red as extensive testing, at Porsche, found that turbo vehicles require the extra stopping power afforded by red calipers. I wanted yellow, but did not want to switch to ceramic rotors.
The red definitely stop better than silver.

off the topic, I'm with Vader on this one.... I can attest to the fact that myTurbo's red brakes worked better once I put on another coat of red!
