How does the SC clutch get it's charge to engage?
Hey all, been looking over things and this one isn't obvious to me. Where is the lead and system for how the SC clutch gets its charge to engage?

DME grounds one of two lines going to the clutch through a relay.
What are you trying to accomplish?
Be careful, it is very easy to fry the DME by feeding wrong voltage into wrong input.

Probably going to shock purest, but I was thinking of using the signal to trigger vacuum actuators on the front air tubes to smooth out the SC engagement process. Kinda like how Audi's have multi-stage intake tracts.
Smoothing out the SC engagements works just using something I rigged up similar to the vacuum secondary flaps on an old Carter carb, but the problem with what I have now is that it restricts too much flow on the high-end.
Given your input, I may just stick to the purely mechanical approach.
