Renntech Post Dyno Result
and your worried im heavy modded...hahaha i thought u were stock all this time !
so since your going to win... ill buy u a in and out burger with a beer ? You'll like the Quaife. it at least forces both sides to let loose before youstroll along, so it minimizes ESP kick in.
Renntech states their Stage 5 makes 521 TQ on 93 octane fuel. And you're
saying your car is making that on just a pulley and California fuel.
I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a stage5 soon, so can someone please explain this. Thanks.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Those A/F ratios on Jay55's car are SPOT on. That is how the code is written. The car will dump fuel from 5.5k to 6.5k to make sure you run rich enough to not risk burning the motor. The renntech C32 does the same thing and is around 10.2 from 5k and up. On our car some dumb dyno tuner told us it was running way lean and that we could be hurting the motor. So we installed a wide band o2 sensor into the exhaust and put a gauge in the car. Turns out the car ran EXACTLY as Oliver had said it should. Dont worry its all just right on Jay55's car.
You could maybe lean it out a bit to gain a few hp but its not worth the risk involved in damaging the engine. They give you some power but also make sure you will not risk the motor.

Congrats sweetheart. It's about time.
Glad you are up and running well. I just wish I had my old beast back.
I have a Stage 5 and my dyno results were very close to the posted R/T results. I dyno'd 484 rwhp and 542 tq. I think the Stage 1 numbers are strong so if you're looking for "bang for the buck" I would stick with Stage 1. With Stage 5 I now have I/C cooling issues so I'll have to invest in an upgraged I/C pump and heat exchanger.
)iam from UK, what does the Stage one include from renntech ?
what is the base power you are acheiving/finding on a stock e55 amg on the rollers at the "fly" < (not wheel) and what is the stage 1 power at the "fly" after this stage one package.
just so i can get my head around the figures.
sorry to be a pain (and no i wont say old bean
)

)I do not know about "fly" numbers as you'd have to have real concensus on what the drivetrain is draining from the power. The dyno literally measures the power at the wheel, so that is the number I track.
I would consider most E55s to run about 410 - 420hp (at the wheel) in stock form.

usually i get 3 double doubles
