top speed
sorry for the barage of new posts about the E55 amg but i was watching the video of the 197 mph M5 and it made me wonder the about the top speed.
asuming one was running on 98ron 100ron i.e uk fuel (octane) and it was delimited how fast would a stock 470-480bhp E55amg travel ?
i know the C32 AMG is around 172mph

so would the much more powerfull E55 be faster still perhaps upto 190mph ?

App the chaps in Dubai get over 300km/h fairly often ... so thats dark side of ~187mph ... where it actually tops out will depend on how hot it is I imagine...
Dont get any ideas of trying this on the M25 ok!

Nice to see a newb ask the technical questions.
Rumor puts the E55 at about 195. That is based on the redline and gearing as it is. I do not know of anyone that has actually posted picks of it being done.
