This must have cost a pretty penny! Rumor has it they are working on the same setup for the E63.
Currency Motor Cars (Westlake, CA) is proud to introduce the first of an unprecedented line of supercars. This flagship model is an ingeniously modified a 2006 BMW M5 that can reach a top speed of 240 mph. This makes it the fastest, most powerful luxury 4-door luxury sedan on the planet. It's high compression V-10 engine has been brilliantly altered, by company founder Ron Cash, to accommodate twin-turbos and a custom, hand crafted inter-cooled system to kick out an astounding 810 horses. No one in the world has been able to achieve this...until now. This is the only car of it's kind. The mind-boggling power of this vehicle is complimented by the exquisite $100,000 alteration of it's interior. The leather in the steering wheel is the same as the leather in the seats. Fully aniline dyed Florida Crocodile in black. Only the finest suede and leathers have been used, much like the old Delahay and Bugatti roadsters adopted in the 1930's. The custom interior is all hand stitched, designed and installed by CMC co-founder Judy Amic-Angelo, one of the most respected product designers in the country.

I guess they had to justify the additional money on the interior because the extra 250K wasn't spent on the STS turbo system. http://www.ststurbo.com/sts_turbo

The sts system is a great bang for buck. unfortunately the M5 is still an ugly car to me. Look on sts website for sounds on the vette with same twin turbo set up. And that interior looks ghetto! Why not use ostrich instead? LOL

I tell you when I look at that rear mounted turbo and I think of the mounting headache, intake plumbing headache, cooling headache, oil lines headache, boost drop headache , lag headache ... AND having two super hot items within a few inches of my fuel tank ...
I end up with an instant migrane...
Sorry the system might result in some power - but I would never ever consider doing this to any car...
Sorry STS...

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the pic. the sts turbo system is great. I am trying to get my buddy here at work to do it to his vette since the wife won't let me add the single setup to her Denali.
