Leaking red fluid from front end

Noticed a nice size puddle in the garage this afternoon. Fluid is red, coming from the engine area. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Car just turned one month old.

mine did it at 2500 miles. Its the gasket or something around a sensor in the transmission. Pretty annoying for a car with so little miles (both yours and mine)

What color is your coolant/anti-freeze? It's usually green/blue, but some people have red coolant.

Aside from that, it could be transmission oil or steering fluid.

it's most probably tranny fluid. Power steering fluid is usually pee colored, oil being browish, factory coolant being green to aqua, tranny fuild being red. It's probably the connector on teh tranny. There is a service campaign for it as well..... I think. The connector has to come out and is replaced with a new connector that has white O-rings that are able to withstand higher temps without letting fluid pass by them.

Good chance it is transmission fluid. Take it to dealer and they will replace the seal. Simple fix...

Thanks alot guys. I will drive the car up on the rhinos tomorrow and check.
Looks like a call to service dept. is needed.
