W211 E55 Options - Panarama Roof, 2 Nav systems!
Previously it was posted that the glass roof was not available on E55. It is an available option in Germany. Option Code is 413 for 1,600 euro.
2 Navigation systems listed:
DVD Nav code 527 - 2,500 euro (available 4th Qtr 2002)
CD Nav code 525 - 1,500 euro
Bi-Xenon is stardard - code 614 - 965 euro

I would be interested in knowing where the information on the panorama roof for the E55 is located. Strange that it is available in Germany and not some/all(?) overseas markets.

German W211 E-Class Price List
This information would not be available for other countries because the car has not been made for export out of Germany yet. The E55 will be introduced at the Paris Auto Show this weekend I believe. It runs from the 9/28 to 10/13.

i talked about this with one of our sales-men, we tried it out. and you CAN configure an E55 with the panorama glass-roof! at least in germany.
i wonder how this rumor started? the glass roof is one of the most impressive features for the w211, so why shouldn´t it be avalible in the top-model, the E55 AMG ?

I ordered W211 E55 18 months ago with panorama option. I was called 2 months ago to advise that it was not available as an option on the E55 due to structural rigidty issues and that my order was being ammended accordingly. I would be very interested to hear confirmation of german availability of this option.
