yea, if the Ford GT is an option, I would go for it over the Gallardo and 360... it has the exotic appeal, uniqueness, and is the outright performance king of this level or cars your looking at.... add a pulley and tune to it and you're flying....

I'd stay away from the SL65 if you want something different. Yes it's faster than an E, but ride wise it's pretty much the same. The same floaty kinda disconnected MB ride. I'd say go with the 360.

When I started looking for something Italian I drove both the Gallardo and a 360 on the same day. I ended up with the Gallardo.The 360 was too smooth and linear for my tastes. The G has a lot of those same kick in the pants characteristics that the E55 has except in a lighter and sexier package.
It was an easy decision to go with the Lamborghini.
The only downside of the Gallardo is that it is such an attention *****.
In the year i've had one,it's been photographed 100's of times by people with cellphones. Every time I take it out it draws a lot of attention.

hmmm... when you started with "bringing your wife bizness" i was saying "hey nowwwwwwwwwwww" but a realtor??? oh. me too. anyhow. the z07 will NOT look like a c6 z06. i had a c6 z and it was a beast but for 150k.

Hugh, what's up? I took my wife's ML in for service the other day and talked to Mark. As always the service was great and the problem was solved.
The DB9 is a sweet car although it reminds me of the SL65 in a way
I'm not real big on the GT in stock trim sense it is only a hair faster than the Z06..go to spdkilz.com to see.
I did see a race between a SE Gallardo and a C6 Z06 and it was really close! (you tube)
The G-SE car may be the way the to go. Black, Pearl Yellow I even saw a Rosso Red one.
My salesman at P-MB wanted to sell me a 07 E63 and I told him no thanks I'm keeping my 04 which only has 14k miles on it!

1- 2002-2004 GT2 Fast as Heck, but Old
2- 2001-2003 360 SpiderFerrari can't knock it, but it's getting old too.
3- 2005 SL65Good but at least in SoCal gets lost in the shuffle
4- 2008 Z06 SS/Blue DevilHOT car! But again will get lost in traffic and for some reason I think you want a bit of a visual standout.
5- 2004-2005 GallardoDon't like the looks, heavy, more of a sports tourer than sports car
I have to agree with Jangy on this one. The new 997 Turbo, as fast as GT2 (Maybe even faster), change out the exhaust for better note, and you're set.
Personally I love my GT3 (The RS will be more than your $150k budget), and you may want to consider that, but I think you'd really like the Turbo based the cars that you were initially considering.

Thanks CYE55, you know what I'm talking about because you live in SoCal and I like to hang out in the Newport/Del Mar/Laguna area. If you're not in the right car you just get overlooked!
