New York Mercedes Dealer? Anyone Got A Hook Up With Mercedes Service Dpmt?
does any member on here have a hook up with a Mercedes benz service department, i have a modded E55 that needs some recalls done and need new water pump, control arms. My dealer in Queens new york (Helms Brothers) are the biggest tight asses and wont service my car because of non mercedes parts were installed therefore .....get this my water pump might of went due to my 20 inch wheels, lol i swear when i heard that i walked right into my car and baked the tires loose out of the dealership driveway. 
Need assistance please help!My boost gauge was a dead giveaway they said! lmao

Dude go to silver star mercedes in Northern Blvd, they are the best, They treat me and my car very nice. they know my car is modified, they did not give me no headaches at all, the car even has 20 inch rims and they replaced my water pump recently.

Just out of curiousity, owners often look for "favors" from thier service department. Do or have any of you made a point of "taking care" of your service advisers? I know I would never leave the dealership without proper "appreciation" to my adivisers. One never knows when a borderline issue needs a push in your direction.

Just out of curiosity, why would you put a boost gauge in a supercharged car, especially with a chain driven blower?
ask yourself why you have a boost gauge in your supra!

Apples and oranges. Boost gauges are by and large for turbocharged cars with the exception of centrifugal blowers that are essentially half a turbo. Even with a turbocharged car there's no real need for a boost gauge until you have actual CONTROL over boost wheras it is useful to monitor how your turbocharger is reacting to its "orders". Also, you want to make sure that it is building boost properly and in the right rev range. In a supercharged car when you're making 11-12psi that my Supra makes on spring alone, there's really no need at all, especially when its a Lysholm that essentially is at full boost from onset. You hint that you have mods, so that might be somewhat of a justification, but I just don't see the use on 99% of supercharged applications.
I see it as more of a "Fast and Furious" mod if your car isn't A. Heavily breathed on or B. Boost Variable.
I need one in my Supra because I need to be aware of how much boost I'm making at all times. If I blow a wastegate spring on hard acceleration I need to be sure my boost isn't spiking to 45psi and blowing up the motor, you won't have that problem on your car.

The guys at RPM Racing in Hicksville who did my Kleemann work told me that they have a good relationship with Massapequa MB - they send their modded customers cars there for warranty work. You may want to call Erik at RPM and ask for a name at Massapequa. Tell him Chris sent you.

Ill tell you what- when you have a car featured in Turbo and Hi tech performance magazine then maybe ill listen to your bull**** about having a boost gauge. Ive owned hi 9 and low 10 sec grand nationals and this guy is asking why i have a boost gauge.... lmaooo. keep it moving..
