My order was put in on January 30 and the lease on my E500 was up on March 17. Unfortunately the E63 has not arrived and now won't be here until the first week in April. As of now it is still "on the water". My dealer was nice to lend me a demo (E350 Winter Special) but now I will need to return it. Hopefully I will get a loaner. Have any of you had similar experiences albeit an E55 or E63? The salesman said it had something to do with the fact that the car is an AMG and that was the reason for the delay.

The day I bought my 63 there was at least 4 E63s sitting on the lot.

 

when i ordered my 55 they told me 8 weeks and it arrived in thirteen.

I ordered an ML500 when the dealer said 2 months and it ended up taking 3.5 months. They really have no idea when it will show up, they just guess. This is why I'm against ordering car because it's always a crazy waiting game.

With the E63, there is plenty of inventory sitting on the ground already here in Chicago.
