definitely 2 different tires as the r1a's are more of an autox/ semi-race compound tire. how long do you expect your r1a's to last. i thought about them but didn't want to be buying new tires every 3k miles!

Depends how often I take them to the track.. I also don't drive my car in the snow... I noticed that MNM5ETR lives in Minnesota. The T1Rs are probably the better choice for that area of the country. I am not sure how long my tires will last, but I will probably replace them after the summer..
