E55 Video's from E-Town
Here's some Video's from this past weekend at E-Town. I got there late so I missed Enzom's record 11:85 run for a stock E55, Sorry Enzom I will be there next time you run. I did manage to catch MIG-55 Rocket do 12:23@114 with stock street tires, and Sleeper X do 11:51@121 with drag radials. Please note I goofed on the commentary on Sleeper X's run, he ran a 11:51 NOT a 12:19. Sorry my bad.
Here's the links, first one is MIG55 and the second one is Sleeper X.

Thanks.. I was on Toyo Ra1s which are R compound tires not d/r's.. I drive on the streets with these tires and I recommend them 100%..

Talk to me on the Toyo's...
I just bought some new 275 Conti's for the rear (I know, JUNK, not on the car yet) and noticed my fronts could be replaced, too - 9,200 miles).
So, I am on the verge of buying some new fronts. Tell me about the tires if you can. Let me know your thoughts on the following:
Quiet/Comfort
Traction
Overall Impression
I could care about tread life - the way I see things is the tires are good for 10K miles max...
Thanks in advance.

Traction - Once heated they will stick like crazy glue on the street
Overall Impression - A+++
To put things in perspective, DJE55 has them on his car and he has the fastest 60 foot time on record for an E55.. And he doesn't have an LSD.
Don't just take my word for it though, ask DJE55 what he thinks of these tires.

Opps, very sorry Sleeper my mistake. I looked at them and just knew they weren't normal street tires so I assumed they were drag radials, Sorry my bad. Great run !!

Quiet/Comfort - A+ (But I haven't used them in the summer yet)

Per Sleep's and Chiromikey's recomendations just bought some Toyo T-1R's.
Sending back the 275 Conti's (not on the car yet). I look forward to lighting them up!

Sleep:
Absolutely you can ask. They were only $734 delivered to my door (back are 275's - I like this - ) with the kudo's from Chiromikey of "better than the PS2's" for a full set. The RA1's were $313 per tire just for the backs (so likely in the $1,200 range). Since I run it strong I figured I would try them. In 10k I will be back for some new ones...
So, price was key, and it seems like anything is a big improvement over the Continentals (I actually did not think they were all that bad) so I did not think I could lose.
