I think it is ridiculous this guy put this on here expecting no one to look up the car fax on it. He said he bought it from Southern Exotics in Florida. I wonder if they were the ones trying to screw him and he did not check the vin. Either way, he is a boner for letting that happen.

you can actually get away with a lot of **** on this forum like actually advertising your car for sale which other forums don't let you do. It sucks that some people abuse that privilege. And as someone pointed out, you'd have to be an absolute idiot to not check on the cars history when making the purchase. $45K is still more than a week's pay (which is my limit for hasty purchases).

I gotta be honest when i first became a member to this site i was really surprised that after reading the posts and the threads that they were rather mature people that left some good advice or some good feed back etc. then out of the wood works i decide to post a thread of my car for sale and i gotta come home to this pathetic ****, im starting to think that alot of people on here are the total opposite of mature, to be honest i make enuff money to take a huge loss on my car if it had a branded title, but the fact is it doesn't, no idea why this started and i really dont care anymore, there were dozens of people interested in my car and this guy was one of them, some of those posts are accurate and some arent. All i gotta say is some of you have some growing up to do, and if i did have a salvaged title and sold the car to someone wouldn't you think i would have to give the money back and take back the car by law because i didnt state it had a title like that. Why would anyone put them thru that hastle for a measly car sale.

Some of you pointed out that i really dont have this ///M6 video, and your right because if i did i would of posted it, but it did take place cause the guy is a good buddy of mine, i mean what would you like me to do post his number his address go waste my time and take pictures of us standing next to the cars, im not that bored with myslef, anyways i have respect for people and i know when someone is going thru something to give them there space. And if some of you have a freind with a ///M6 that live near me all you gotta do is leave a reply and ill be glad to come over and throw it a beat down. Trust me my 55 has the ability to go with the best of them. Some of you are really cool people and some just got way to much time on your hands.

Dude... rather than writing a long and winded reply, why don't you tell us the correct VIN number? Even better, take a picture of the VIN and a scan of the title.

Why? Because there are potential buyers in this forum... and a clean titled car w/ this mileage and this price is certainly very attractive. And the bottom line you want to sell your car fast. No matter whom you are selling to.

So... why don't you do the two things above? Not to do "in your face" thing for skeptics... but to get more leads in terms of prospective buyers.

If indeed CARFAX is wrong, you'd better work that out w/ CARFAX. CARFAX is very popular now and I believe 99% of buyers (especially E55 buyers) would do a quick check... If not, you end up wasting your time for a buyer who at the end won't buy your car b/c of the CARFAX report.

I'd be interested in taking this car off your hands if it is proved to have clean title... Just PM and we'll talk.

Zoink offers a perfect solution, show a title or a VIN not connected to a a salvaged car and your credibility is restored.

You could shut everyone up by doing what everyone is telling you to do and post a pic of the real vin number if it is in fact different. Writing long winded sympathy posts to prove your innocence won`t get you anywhere.

If it is infact a salvaged car, you may have lost respect from alot of the people on these boards, but do yourself a favor MAN UP instead of making yourself look even worse.
