Tire Size Question

Im getting my New 20s soon...I use to rock 245-35-20 & 275-30-20
I wanna go a lower profile in the from im doing 245-30-20, but I wanted to keep the rear at 275-30-20...that wouldnt be weird would it, I live and LA, and anybody from LA can vouch that our roads SUCKKKKKKKKKKK...I know it isnt much of a diffrence in Ride, but i dont want to have to worry about them...I know ive asked plenty of times, but im so stuck on what tires to get in the rear, i know the recomended size to go with 245-30 is a 285-25 but would it be ok to run 245-30 and 275-30?

I thought you had already gone and pulled the trigger on the tyres?

...only problem with the 275/30, it will be 0.8 inches bigger in diameter than your front wheels.
......is there any reason why you want to run a bigger sidewall in the rear???
.....I would have thought the front wheels would be more vulnerable to potholes???.....and bending??

Would it be possible to run a 255/30 in the front? this would be a better match in diameter to the 275/30 in the rear.

....that is just my opinion.....and the only thing I remember about LA's roads are the inclines and declines and the countless number of cars overheating.
....Great city though!!!!

285/25's would be slightly smaller in diameter than 275/30's, but not by much. Remember, the more the total diameter of the fronts and rears differ, the, the lower the speed your cruise control will stop working. I'd aim with keeping them damn close.
