Sorry guys... I think ***** like this is completely moronic! doing a monster gas and tire waste on your Iroc-Z rockin a sweet mullet in 1988 is one thing but this is a huge cry for attention.

Thats really no big deal...I do donuts like that in much tighter spaces with my CLK500 (dyno mode) and I make 10x the smoke. If you guys are that impressed with those types of burnouts I can make a vid and post it here if you want lol.
I used to really light up the tires in the old SL55 with just ESP off

A total waste, but fun to watch. That person did not have one cent invested in that car and has a total lack of respect for the true owner, or some idiot with a lot of money. Sort of disgusting........

Problem w/a lot of owners like you, (Not trying to demean you, or put you down, just educate you) Is a little rough housing on these cars is fine, there high perf machines, built very sturdy, able to withstand far more abuse than you realize, a little burnout/doughnut session isn't going to hurt jack... There made for high perf driving, which includes loosing traction.

Ahhhh... I hit a nerve! it's all good bro... I personally enjoy seeing what cars people have owned that have led them to this place. As the matter of fact, I'm willing to bet that an IROC-Z or something of the sort would be on your list
Nevertheless, I appreciate you stating the blindingly obvious here... a bunch of guys with modified Porsches, Ferraris, and Benzos being “attention ******” good stuff man! Welcome to the board!

Actually the Vette cost 50k out the door if I remember corectly, got the S430 used for 40 something, going from a SL55AMG to a CLk500 is like going from a Hayabusa to a Vespa

As a matter of fact, Omeed, a 1986 IROC-Z would be #3 on my list of cars I've owned in my life, so you got me there
And yes, I agree, we ALL have a little bit of it in us, or we wouldn't be on this board, and wouldn't own the cars we do.

At 18 I just don't feel like jeopardizing my finances for a 100k+ car...yet
I still miss the fun of the rwd SL55 though.
Its funny though how going from a stock SL55 to a modded CLK500 sounds like I became a failure haha.
My next car is either going to be the new GTR, modded Vette, used modded CL65, new M3, C63, or 996 911TT. One more year till the lease is up
