this is a huge cry for attention.
I've always found that people who feel the need to list every car they've owned since they were 16 in their sig, well...

Not to mention, a website just for pics of one's rides? Can you say attention *****?

Why you ducking me bro? you challenged me last week, made a bet, NO PM'S or any attempt to contact me? etc..I clicked your profile and you were all over this forum flappin' your lips, talking smack how you'd beat me if I was only closer blah, blah, etc.. but NO backing up your challenge? PM box is waiting for you bro!!

Halfway driving this weekend, lets meet up?

I feel like this is a scene outta "Ferris Buellers Day Off" "Ferris Bueller? Bueller? Bueller? Anybody seen him?

All in good fun bro! you thru down the challenge, didn't back it up? and then procede to talk a boat load of smack on other non-related thread in the Kill section, how you'll beat me etc...I'm down, Win? Loose? Or draw? it's all good

BTW You've got mail

Thats really no big deal...I do donuts like that in much tighter spaces with my CLK500 (dyno mode) and I make 10x the smoke. If you guys are that impressed with those types of burnouts I can make a vid and post it here if you want lol.

I used to really light up the tires in the old SL55 with just ESP off

A total waste, but fun to watch. That person did not have one cent invested in that car and has a total lack of respect for the true owner, or some idiot with a lot of money. Sort of disgusting........

(1) track day would do far worse damage (IE..brakes, tires, suspension, etc.) than that fool hearty display of fun! relax Only thing harmed in that display of full throttle was a little bit of rubber??

Problem w/a lot of owners like you, (Not trying to demean you, or put you down, just educate you) Is a little rough housing on these cars is fine, there high perf machines, built very sturdy, able to withstand far more abuse than you realize, a little burnout/doughnut session isn't going to hurt jack... There made for high perf driving, which includes loosing traction.

Curious? how could you go from an SL55AMG to a reg CLK500 w/nos? engines a ticking time bomb, what happened? Not trying to pry but that's quite a step/fall backwards?

Ahhhh... I hit a nerve! it's all good bro... I personally enjoy seeing what cars people have owned that have led them to this place. As the matter of fact, I'm willing to bet that an IROC-Z or something of the sort would be on your list

Nevertheless, I appreciate you stating the blindingly obvious here... a bunch of guys with modified Porsches, Ferraris, and Benzos being “attention ******” good stuff man! Welcome to the board!

You went from a $75k+ car to a $45k car.

Bustin your chops man.

So only certain cars during certain eras were allowed to do donuts? Come on man, we really need more of those. I'm tired of people who purchase great cars and baby them.

Actually the Vette cost 50k out the door if I remember corectly, got the S430 used for 40 something, going from a SL55AMG to a CLk500 is like going from a Hayabusa to a Vespa

As a matter of fact, Omeed, a 1986 IROC-Z would be #3 on my list of cars I've owned in my life, so you got me there

And yes, I agree, we ALL have a little bit of it in us, or we wouldn't be on this board, and wouldn't own the cars we do.

I've mentioned it in other posts, but the SL55 was my father's car lol. I always had the CLK500 and Ford Explorer for work and junk. He got my mom the S550 and he just got rid of his SL55. He had a 911TT for about 2 weeks which I LOVED...now he has a Bentley GTC and 750Li...I always drive his cars though so I have a lot of experience with them.

At 18 I just don't feel like jeopardizing my finances for a 100k+ car...yet

I still miss the fun of the rwd SL55 though.

Its funny though how going from a stock SL55 to a modded CLK500 sounds like I became a failure haha.

My next car is either going to be the new GTR, modded Vette, used modded CL65, new M3, C63, or 996 911TT. One more year till the lease is up
