Anyone try the E55 to E63 Front Conversion? Possible?

I was at the dealer today at Mercedes Benz of White Plains and was talking to one of the techs. He had told me that another one of the techs had attempted the update because it seemed fairly simple visually. Basically changing the front grill and front bumper with obviously a few adjustments behind the scenes. The car was a 2004 E55 and attempted with a 2007 E63 front. He told me that the guy couldn't do it because there were too many things that needed to be "changed". He said the front update would not be worth doing. Is this true? Has anyone else attempted it?

Why turn a good looking car into an ugly one with a pointy beak that resembles at least five Japanese cars?

To beak or not to beak that is the Question.
