It seems you guys are talking about 19" wheels- what about mounting 275 or 285 30 or 35 on 18" wheels??

Russ,

I have had no rubbing at all since I went to the 285 rears. Sorry but I do not have pictures with the 285s. I will tell you that visually, they look much better than the 275s.

In a nut shell..............I'm happy I changed over.

I am not an authority at the track but I keep ESP on.

I think the PS2's are less wide than my B'Stone RE050A's ... on my Style IV 31 offsets it catches on top inside wheel arch under max compression...

Don't know how you get away with it Rock ..??

OK...so I shouldnt get much rubbing ET33 either...if Rock OK with ET32 and Steve is almost OK with ET31...

Do you guys know how PS2 compared to Advan 103 in width ??? Since my front tyres are Advan 102...

I think going to Advan 103 in rears would be a wiser choice or its OK if use totaly diff tyres at the back ???

Steve how do you like those Potenza tyres, do you have the latest model ???

Potenza's are very good for me ... I would get again - but maybe next time I will go for some R compounds instead... heard v good things about the Advans ...

Would love to know how the profile of these are vs the BStone's - they sure sit proud of the fender and some donut present but its ok ... I actually think 275 will run better on a twisty track though despite being 10mm narrower - I think it will be more stable on the rim with less donut...

Steve... Do you have a lots of rubbing or not and when it occurs ???

I definately want 285/30 at the back...and wanna try ET33 1st, if it will rub a lot...I am thinking machine my existing 12mm spacers to ET35, to 10mm, if not then ET37-38 7-8mm...

You think its possible to going to 285/30 instead of 275/30 is worth it ???

Thanks

What do you guys think of this setup?

Rims:
20x9/et38
20x11/et 35
Tires:
Front 245/30/20
Rear 285/25/20

Was on a E55, now going to a E550. Anyone see any issues for my Summer setup and the change from E55 to E550? Currently not lowered, planning on lowering slightly using the renntech module (this is my work car, so stock height will be used for daily driving).

285's on an 11" rim. Don't the sidewalls lean in?

BAD RESULT ...

Rubbed a lot bit I didnt drive slow...May be cause my car is lowered...In comfort setting is OK as logs as you do go into fast corner...

Took ME 45 minites to clean my wheels and arches...machined my existing spacers to ET38 and it fine NOW and it doesnt look much different then ET33...

Still wont hook up well, cause tires are still new...need some miles...i hope...
