LSD...installation...
I was going to order an LSD from my Kleemann dealer and they told ME they installed LSD completely...They never installed LSD into stock differential of E55...and the price for LSD is close to 5k...whereas Kleemann parts only 1800 Euro...They said its a very diffucult jobs to do and needs to been done carefully (I know that) and said not one can install it properly here, cause they never treid too...
Is it really that difficult ??? Does Kleemann provides all instructions ???
On other hand I get get Qualife LSD but I heard its vene more complecated to install
I dont know what to do... I wanna LSD but I am not ready to pay 5k for it and scared to get Qualife or Kleemann cause if something isnt installed right...could lread to big probs...
Anyone know about installation procedure of either Kleemann or Qualife LSD ???

Mike.. Get the Quaiffe. Anyone who can do rear end work can get the install done for you.. Buy it from Evosport and ask them for some Installation Pointers.. They will give you the guidance you can pass on to the installer.
I've got a Quaiffe unit sitting in a box waiting to be installed. Got it from Evosport.

I posted this not too long ago but here goes again.
The Kleemann LSD
Approx 2300 bucks
60% Locking
Requires machining gears
A press is required
Quaife 1800 bucks
0-100% locking
No machining required
PROPER alignment required or you will get a acceleration or deceleration whine. (shimming)
The pinion gear is not touched so front to back alignment is not required.
Installation of either LSD does require some skill. One side half shaft has to come out to take the diff out which requires suspension dissambly on one side. If anyone has any questions regarding procedure of either LSD, let me know.
