Call Cory at Kleeman in Colorado. He could help. I bought my IC pump kit (Johnson) from them and it had the relay but I did not write down the part #.

From what I know, Cory at Kleeman has installed quite a few of the Johnson pumps so I would trust him - that's me based on my experiences with him and my trust with him and Kleeman.

Another point of view is what would happen if you did not have a relay?

One other thing to think about is that I read somewhere that on the newer car, the pump is setup to turn on when needed and off when not to extend the life of the factory pump. Therefore, if you wish, you can hook it up to an ignition power source so that it is always on when the ignition or key is on. I believe I read that this will help to further reduce the IAT. This is what I was planning to do.

Can you post what reducing adapter you are using. I was planning to take mine to www.rbisj.com to find something when that day comes for me to install my Johnson pump.

you can PM Scottcls55 or Rflow306 .I bought the Pump with adapter from him ( use 1 month ) and I also order 1 ( brand new model CM90 ) for spare and I will get it on tomorrow . I don't know any thing about adapter until he told me .If you want 1 I can sell it to you that way you don't have to wait 4 or 6 weeks.

thanks.

I actually have a brand new Johnson pump sitting here for months already. Since my replaced new IC pump works fine, I find no reason to change it yet.

Cheers
