*** CF Airbox Raffle ??? ***
What do you guys think? I wanted to bring back my original idea but raffle off one of the Carbon Fiber airboxes that was made as part of that R&D group..
I have in my possession 1 complete box (just like you've seen other members post pictures of) which contains a complete kit (airbox, filters, instructions, etc). This airbox will be for a STOCK throttle body car but if you have an 80mm I'll swap it for you for free.
My thoughts were:
20 spots/tickets available for $100USD each. The first 20 people to send in their $100 will be entered. Once we hit 20 no more money will be accepted.
The $2,000USD will cover all shipping costs.. The retail price of the airbox is $2300USD and that is what it will be sold at once the R&D group has received their products.
1 in 20 chance is pretty good odds!
If this materializes, I'll find a cool way to do the raffle..

sonds like a neat idea. I think you would sell tickets like hotcakes though if the money went to a charity, so at least if no one won anything, they know the money would be going to a good cause. Just my 2 cents

No. Without a car here to test fit the airbox I cant know for sure.
Well, aside from having a little fun and doing the raffle, another reason I am doing it is because our original R&D group of 33 is currently down to 28.. 5 people had to drop out for various reasons so I have 5 airboxes leftover that I already paid for.
I thought this might be a cool way for someone to get one and for me to recoup some costs.

I'm in! I didn't know you had any boxes left over? I stayed away from your thread and your stuff since I thought I was selling my car. Now that I'm keeping it, I need a mod. Help a brotha out!

The one that I have in my hands is for a stock TB.. If you ended up winning it, I would have to swap it for the 80mm version.. BUT.. the phenolic spacers have to come out.. It changes the height of the surge tanks and makes mounting the airbox difficult.
If you want an airbox for a stock TB car, I can hook you up right away... PM or email me what you are looking for and I'll see what I can do.
