K1/EVO Headers Dynoed
Well the progressive dyno sheets speak for themselves.
The first one was the "Before" which consisted of stock exhaust, factory ecu and Kleeman pulley vs factory ecu tune, 80mm throttle body /ASP Pulley /PTE-160 T-Stat.
The next graph is the 300 miles later "Learned" with factory ECU tune, 80mm TB/ASP Pulley/PTE-160, it seems the ECU improved with mileage as it adapted....vs upgrading to the K2 tune. The K2 made it more violent and hard to drive but was very responsive.
The last graph is an overlay of previous mods with K2 ECU tune vs recent reflash with K1 ECU tune and EVOsport shorty headers. Unfortunately Harmanmotive did not dyno it before the header install to verify the K1 vs K2 difference alone BUT from the SOTP the response of the K1 was smoother but very lackluster. Actually it felt slower than original stock tune. The last run is the K1 with the headers and previous modifications.
On the way home tonight it felt very smooth and reponsive..... the lack of response going from K2 to K1 seemed to diminish substantially. The headers gave it a low rumble without losing the quiet luxury sound........ very nice! I have to say I'am very impressed with the headers.
I also have to say that it seems the factory ECU tune is not that bad with modifications. It now has slightly less HP and TQ, but is more driveable and the headers seem to have returned the throttle response.

Thanks....They are ok.......torque is down but maybe I need to drive it 300 or so miles to see if the adaptation side of the ECU improves.......or now it goes back to Kleeman for K2 again, now that I installed the headers.
