1. Dyno mode engagement.
2. Comfort setting on the suspension.
3. Front tires to 45 psi.
4. BFG T/A drag radials to 15 psi.
5. 3/4 tank of gas for rear weight.
6. Fold side mirrors in.
7. Power brake to 1000 rpm.
8. Engage throttle at light agressively but dont smash it.
This gives me 1.8 60 ' times, 12.1 ET with 114 trap speeds. Hope this helps-Joker
ESP on, near zero power brake, and just quickly but smoothly work foot to the floor WITHOUT MASHING. Sounds easy but when that adrenaline gets pumping and the guy next to you is power braking and revving, it's almost natural instinct to just mash the pedal.
Just go out on a practice area and work on the launches. Once you get the "quick yet smooth" to the floor technique down, the car will do the rest.
Also, you running the stock Conti's?? I switched to PS2's and got a bit more grip. Only noticed the huge difference when I went drag radials on the street. They are pretty scary though. Sidewall is not built to take off ramps like we all do and of course you drive them in the rain and you face certain death.
Keep us posted.
