"correction times aside"

I am getting really sick of the sea level folks throwing out the correction times like they are somehow FICTICIOUS! Read the thread man there are East Coast 63's running 12.5 12.6

Where do you get 12.89? His time has to be corrected for elevation bro!! His DA was 3077. Run you car at 3000 feet prior to throwing out our corrections.

Didn't get to run my 63 this weekend. There were over three hundred cars in the street class when i got there. Did have some fun with a c6 vette ( non-z06 ) The look on his face was priceless, we pulled over and talked for a little while. Going to try next weekend

Juice,

Your numbers are starting to LOOK real good. And don't worry about all this 63 Envy. Our numbers will match or beat an average 55

Sorry to hijack this thread and I'm probably going to get flamed for this but...you guys are making it very difficult to read these threads with your signatures. It's getting to the point where I have to look over my shoulder everytime I read a thread, either at home or at work, to make sure I don't offend someone or get a frying pan to the head. Can't we get back to the nice looking cars?

And no..I'm not gay.

Audi ran a 11.9@119(highly modded) that is like a 11.0@127, seems like a great match between you and the tri turboed s4. ever raced one of these cars?

Sorry but your posting these slips w/illegible copies? all we can make out are your *corrected times* in your writing on slips? man this is kinda lame? no one has run a 12.36-12.5XX in a 63 unless you use your *Correction Computer*lol...

Not to flame but it is way to confusing your posting these times altogether jumbles the casual or regular reader from knowing what was on the actual slip????

What's the point? your obviously not modding? Seems like pure bragging rights trying to squeeze into the 55k league?? If you didn't run the time it seems futile unless for personal future modding comparo? which I don't see here? What are you telling guys at the track that ask you what your 63 runs?

"Oh she runs a 12.4x-12.6x at SEA LEVEL, w/DA =4822.7" guy asking 1/4 Q ??? what the hell does that mean?? what did you run tonite?? Juicee-"Ohhh you meant my ACTUAL REAL TIME why didn't you say so? mid to low 13's bro!"

Do you see the silly-ness? If your going to post slips make sure there atually readable?? It will appear your corrective writing is the actual # you ran on slip, very confusing I appreciate your enthusiasm but your taking this correcton factor way overboard...I've been a member here for years and never seen anything like this

Ahh... it's 177 miles 3 hr's 25 min one way to get a low-mid 13 pass? I've given these guys plenty of props for actually going/running but all this correction stuff is getting lame/overboard??

I am going to second that. I love this thread but the shaking and tan on that looker is too much. Let's not make this site the kind that is read without both hands on the wheel....

DUDE can you read? The times on the slips are quite clear!!!!!

And yes 63's have run 12.5@114!!!!!

MY RUNS ARE AS FOLLOWS!

13.317@103.930
13.342@105.495
13.408@106.485

It is not confusing at all. It is more confusing that you people in this forum think the 63 is slow because the best we can do at altitude is 13.3!!. I have a guy in the cls forum claiming his cls 55 is 6/10ths faster in the 1/4 mile comparing his run at SEA LEVEL with mine@5000 feet. Your vette is likely a 14 second car at LACR would you post your time 14.0@102mph and have some sea level c5 owner claim his car is 2 seconds faster because he runs 12@117? This calculation puts my run at STANDARD CONDITIONS not perfect, IT IS NHRA accepted and part of DRAG RACING. I would bet 1 million dollars my car will not be beaten by any STOCK 55's by the margins you spew daily here in this forum. Oh the 55 runs 11.8@115 then compare that to my 13.3, You guys are seriously on crack! Give me a dial lead and I will murder your sea level cars why because THEY ARE NOT FASTER!! Its the same car! Is your Vette slower than a guy in New jersey with the same exact car?

How many times must I address this. No 55, no Vette, nothing stock has beaten my by anywhere near the margins you guys are trying to falsely hold.

Im sick of this Bluemax is right. Come to LACR wed or friday you will get waxed. Your vette will not get anywhere close to what you think. Then post your time w/o corrections. I have run over 250 times now. This car is ervery bit as fast as a unmodded 55 or any other stock car in its class. The correction IS A MUST!! I know what the run would be, or at least what my car is capable of AT SEA LEVEL. We cannot compare times w/o correction cars at altitude WOULD NEVER EVER EVER run close to the sea level cars, you gotta take this out of the equation.

XABO ran 12.5@114 in a 63

I will not allow you to diminish my runs. You run a 997 TT see how you do . Maybe run the triple turboed S4, that traps 130 AT SEA LEVEL and does 120 at LACR. I have the second fastest run in a 63 and the best run in a CLS model to date. I beat everything stock at the German Invasion, no 55 has beaten a 63 at this track, so anyone wanna show up wed or friday? Ricker ?

You have never seen corrected times because very few people take the time to do them unless they are PROFESSIONAL. You do the corrections to compare your runs over time and in different States. In order to compare my time against a fellow in Florida we both need correct our slips. This puts his run and my run on the same track. why oh why is it so hard to understand?

I am routinely running 12.6 @114-115 at E-town. And yes, those are actual times. This is also in a very heavy car.(compared to other 63's) After EACH run I weigh her, anywhere from 4,535-4,560 lbs. Car is also BONE stock (still have the charcoal filters in). Forget the time, it's the mph I am happy with.

That is a great start. You will get to the 12.2 range once you reduce the weight a bit. Wow your car is as heavy as mine!!

The 63 is capable of a 12.2-12.4 run. It will happen and the trap speed will be 116-118. Thats going to be hard but it is possible.

Venom do you think your car is a half second faster than mine?

Venom 12.6@114
Juicee 13.3@106

same engine ? could this be? What the difference guys why is Venoms car so much faster, guess mine es brokee. Anyone want to explain why I will never get a 12.6 in my car and why Venom will likely always be .7 seconds faster and trap 8 mph higher? I thought we both owned 63's?

Oh so you were just trying to goose me to a race. Hey I will drive to you, pick a track close to your locale and I will come up and run 1/4mile vs. you!

Video against 997tt is nearly up. Do you think the 997 is fast?
