Hello guys...

I thought it would be nice if we could share our DRAG RACING techniques...so hopefully we could learn from each other and improve...

Here is what I do:

So far its has been very cold and difficult to launch good, hook up is very bad...

My technique is diff if its 4wd or 2wd car...

1st of all I make sure regular pressure is around 2.4 (euro measures not sure what is it is US) at the rear I put around 1.7-1.5...May be is wrong I dont know... I dont touch the from one but they are the same pressure as rear around 2.4 as well...I run 19 wheels...275/30 rears...

If am runing vs 2wd car...From the standing point I do little braking and smoke the tyres a bit and then release the brake and WOT...Then line up...ESP is ON...Comfort mode...Trans in S mode...Prepare to launch...Brake and REV till like 1200-1500...as the last Yellow is ON...I press the throtle like 70% and car takes off and then harmmer it down...This way I get best reaction times of 0.100 or something like this...and leave on Red...If the throtle is pressed a bit later I get very bad reaction times of like 0.5-0.6...

With 4wd is basically the same...but I ask the people who line up the cars to line up 4wd car 1st...Smoke tyres a bit...then come closer the lights, the 4wd car is lined up already...Press the brakes and smoke the tyres just before I line up...This way tyres a still hot, you get a better launch... Eventhough 4wd cars get a good jump off the line, cause they luanch at like 6000+ rpms or higher...They dont run away that far and you able to catch up later at higher speeds...ussually its very close...and if you miss launch and did get good traction you wont catch up in 1/4...where as 2wd car are more foregivable, since they have same probs as you...


This my experinces...and how I drag race...Pur drag raicing track is very bad and has bad payment and its very difficult to hook up perfectly...

What is you times...???

It is imposible to launch moded e55 without ESP...at least on road like we have...

Why keep secret to your self...:nix coomon guys teach ME

 

You should do what my buddy does in his 55, he turns esp on for the first gear launch then back on after 60 ft appx 2 seconds. He is unmodded though.

How much HP do you have?
