Evosport Rotors

Does anyone on this board have a new set of Evosport Rotors for a W211 E55 that they would be willing to sell? Drilled, slotted, or both?

Do you use a stock E55 brake pad with these rotors,or is it a Evosport item as well?

You can use the stock pads but I chose to use the Porterfield R4S pads. Others I know went with Pagid. I had the chance to try them both for about 2k miles and they were quite similar in feel. I chose the Porterfield because I saw less brake dust.

So the R4S has the least amount of brake dust, thats what Im all about. But 500 bucks for just the pads seems a bit steep?

I put mine on a long time ago so I cant remember the price but for all 4 corners, that seems about right or maybe it was 400 bucks?

Its worth it, if you are keeping your ride that is.

I paid $500 for my set. They are still sitting in my garage from when I had the E63 rotors.

SleeperX - you should really consider the Brembo GT upgrade - that is a BIG difference in reliable stopping power....

for the front, a 355mm rotor requires 18s, a 380mm rotor requires 19s and a 405mm rotor requires 20's

Unfortunately yes ... I think the disc clears but the new caliper does not.

These brakes , Quaife LSD , catch can, and some decent headers are my next mods... I have to pull out the S/C to fit my VRTB so I might "smooth out" some of the parts' obstructions that Finny spotted in the S/C casing during his rebuild... no end to this madness - and it seems to be infectious!!!

I'm right on your tail, bro. I'm doing the exact same stuff, except trying to keep brake diameters the same. I can't wait to have the car setup for some nice track times.
