Appreciate your opinion but me and Sleeper X were just having interesting convo. Didn't appear to be any trash talking...at least I didn't think so.
Paper racing
I bet I am competitive for the most life time drags on this forum. My stock SRT-10 runs 11.7 @123mph, on run craps. Have any STOCK E55's run that time? Like I said, I have a strong one from the factory.Since then I have bolted on some minor mods.
I am also fairly experienced in driving the car. As far as that paper racing comment (still laughing) I could be found at E-town almost every other week. Benefits of being only 25minutes from the track.
Have not dragged the Viper yet this year...still having fun with the E63. Still not convinced of my baseline times though. Last several runs were all in the 12.6 114 area.
Will be trying something different this week.

I could attest to that....the car is truly a beast, It is aggresively quick of the line. No BS... I don't know but i smell E-town this saturday, what do you guys say....I will need a helmet though there is no way in hell I am paying $120 for that piece of eggshell..

Every week someone tries to set up an E-town trip but it always falls thru...and I am usually the sole E55/E63 representative. Would certainly appreciate a get together to share drag stories and talk shop. If anybody has been to E-town lately it is being over-run by little ricers...and of course Vettes..but that has always been the case.

My E63 should be delivered before the end of the month. It has the 030 performance pkg with the LSD, suspension, etc. I'm not into dragstrip stuff for the most part and have never been to Englishtown eventhough my beach house is not far east of there. I do track events where the E63 for a heavy 4D sedan will be formidable. In any case I think it would be a blast to meet up at E-town with fellow forum guys. It'll be a while before I'll subject it to full throttle redlines though. The LSD should be good for .2-.3 secs and I have to look into the charcoal filter removal. Then maybe ECU and the Sprint Booster. What time is it on Sat?

Didn't realize there is a special event this weekend...they will still run time trials in between but you might be there for hours and maybe get two runs in. I am now going to go on Fri (weather pending). Am also planning on going next Wed (5/23) sometimes I get up to 5 or 6 runs if not too crowded.

I have been getting at least two runs in before 7pm...but with summer months arounsd the corner that could change.

That was not my 11.85 @ 118.17 mph run. Nobody got that one on video. This video is of my run immediately following the 11.85 run.
Still a few mph's shy of 123 mph, though.

LOL!! What are you talking about? The dumb-founded look was due to the fact that he got walked....... I don't know if you own the same type of Viper that was in the video, but if you would like to bring your car out to Captree, E-town, or any other place in the NY/NJ area one of these weekends I would be more than happy to show you just how fast a 55 AMG is....
