Stupid Question-Navigation.
I recently discovered that on the nav. screen the little cross on the lower right of the screen displays the number of sats. that the car pics up. Fascinateing little thing for me. Here in S.A. i get an average of 6-7 sats most times and i noticed 10 one time only being picked up by my car.

I typically get 8-10 satellites down here in southeast Florida. I beleive you need to have at least 3 in order to get a "fix" on your location.
Since we are at sea level, I can't tell you if the altitude shown on the screen is correct.

I get 7-10 here in Texas. You need 3 for a location, and 4 for a location + altitude info.
My altitude hasn't been 100 ft ever, and usually says 0 feet.
I get it registers altitude in 100 feet increments (or is it meters?)

When I first got the car (used 2003 S55) it just said 0 sats. A trip to the dealer found a bad antenna and now I get 8-10 too. My distances read in kilometers though and I would prefer miles. Does anyone know how to change the nav from kilometers to miles?
