Fun with an M3
Yesterday, I came up on an M3 with the license plate "AMG LOL". He was going about 80, and I passed him going about 100. When he sped up, I let him pass me just a little, and then I dropped the hammer on him.
Last I saw, he was a blip in my rear view mirror. Poor kid. Geez, I love the E55. Sometimes it's just tooooo much fun!

poor kid! Better have some serious mods prior to that plate display. Course mine gets me in mucho trouble but , so far nothing on the street has walked me like a 55 would walk an M3

I dream of someday running into a newer M5 or 6, but to spend money and fill out the special forms to show hatred for the M.....wow! Some guys just got too much time on their hands.
Regardless, he wanted some AMG, he got it!
Great job!
yo realize youre talking about an m3 v. a 55k
its funny and cool b/c of the plate, definitely nothing "special"
an m3 would give any n/a 55 (k, maybe not the slk
) a good run up to 150+, a 55 would more than likely win (im a little biased
) but m3's are surprisingly fast well above the "low end"
I'm sure he knows that the m3 is no match for an e55 on the highway....
M3's have no torque whatsoever (like 276 ft lbs) and most is at the high rpm level so on a rolling race, even the older bi-turbo B5 S4's if chipped can pull on the e46 m3.
I should know and raced quite a few guys with low torque high hp cars. Both my s2k and m3 are more high rpm cars since the VTEC/VANOS does not kick in till like 5500 rpm and by then the E55 is LONG GONE...haha
Good run though, I love torque which is why my next car is an E55
