updated NAV DVD?

updated NAV DVD?
What is the latest release and how can I tell what release I have?
I'm sure there's a newer release regardless b/c I have a 2005 car, but lately, I've been finding it doesn't have the road or restaurant or something that I expected it to have.
Have you guys noticed or heard that there's much change with each new release?
Also, one thought I had was to go sit in a new E63 and check on some locations that I recently visited which were not in my NAV, but before I do that, I want to be able to verify which version I and they have, and which is the latest.

Scott, go to your trunk and eject yours to find out what you have. It will say on the disc. (2004.1 for example). I believe the latest is 2006.2. Others have had trouble upgrading to the latest version if their current one is too old. Do a search and you should find something on that.

No luck on the s/c chirp gettig fixed. I'm going to keep bugging them about it until they do though.

Somebody in a thread a few months ago had an ISO file of the one before the 2006.2. I think it was the 2006.1. If I remember right, at the time, you could PM them and they would give you a link to download the ISO file. I know a lot of people upgraded then. I think there is very little added from the 2006.1 to the 2006.2, but if you had an earlier version, it is a big difference.

I was wondering if the nav dvd would read burned dvd, so I guess it will, I just bought 2006.1 from ebay for 10 bucks, I was the only one that bid on it. The earlier version I had was 2004.? and 2006.1 has huge changes. if anyone wants 2006.1 drop a note
