Can I ask something?
Was the rotten track prep something new for Sacto (meaning one time thing)
Rogerv and Trey have really put down some smokin times in the past.
Any regulars have any input. I really wanna make the trek down there, but to drive for 8 hours to go sideways would really suck.

you have all wheel drive and turbo lag! find me today at the strip and you take my car for a pass, with out traction controll on and see what you can do. i guess sideways or a slow **** time.

The SL65 doesn't have either, and on DRs it runs low 1.6s 60's. So... get some drag radials on that beast and let's see what it can do

all cars were slower by a bit EXCEPT the 911, Ben and his gal smoked us all!!
63 still undefated vs. the 55, E55 that is. 5 hours and 388 miles 22.5 mpg just got home posted a 12.7@113 and things got worse as the night wore on. P car 11.17@126? and the SL 65 driven by blond had some real nice times 11.4ish. E 63 did a 12.48@113. I was 1/1000th from a perfect light, that would of been amazing .001 reaction. Overall My trap speed improved but my ET and 60ft times suffered. Video will post next year LOL. DA was around 1300. Great fun as always,
Thanks Adam, Tony and the Euroelites crew.

One race was 11.560 @121 for the 65 and 11.49@123 for the p car, I think she did beat him once in the 65. Thank goodness nobody wanted a piece of me. I think my car was making more power up top finally now I need to piece together the 1.7 60 fts with the 113 traps.

Biggest question I have is track prep.
Better, worse or same as last time?
Rocket or anyone sideways again? Any screw or nails on the track again?
Thanks for any info on track conditions. Planning a trip down there....everything is starting to come together finally (famous last words)

The racing was fabulous, although the air was not its best and everyone reported going slower than normal. The Porsche picked up speed as things cooled off and I got some practice shifting it.
Bests:
Christine in the SL65: 11.4 @ 123.5
Ben in the Porsche: 11.02 @ 128.5
I'm looking forward to slightly cooler air and 10.9 @ 130 this fall

Wow that's cool how fast you posted the video.
Now not to be a pest but....
I would recommend a little more footage at the end of each run so people can view trap times/speed.
But again, thanks for the video and the quick post. Many thanks to EuroElites too for hosting the event.

This was my first time at Sacto - actually first time ever to do the 1/4 - and I have a question on the time slips: Does this track record 60 ft time on the right lane only?
BTW - great video! Thanks for posting it so quickly!

i dont know how the 65 hooks up he just pulls up and hammers it no wheel spin. i have DRs with a burn out traction controll on and still spin the tires. i also roll into the gas best i can ( i dont just hammer it) i did loose to the blonde due to red light i figured i better get a perfect jump or i will loose anyways.
mikey i use the stock rims with BFG DRs 28 psi. i do a burn out no water, turn the traction controll on and roll into the gas. and i still spin?
i seriously can launch better on my street set up. next track meet im gonna run my street rims and tires i bet i get the same times or better.

Yeah it was real difficult making adjustments due to not knowing the 60 ft times etc..Really sad. Track prep was about the same, it got worse for me and the other MBZ, Ben is the only one that seemed to master this track. His car was moving out like a bullet. Great shift points and super launches. I would hate to see what the p car would do @MIR..Ben you listening?
