CO2 as a Cooling Mod

As some of you are aware, I have been experimenting with CO2 as a cooling mod for my car. I now have an intercooler sprayer, which sprays the heat exchanger as well as a CRYO2 fuel bar which sits in my coolant line as opposed to the fuel line in order to lower the coolant temperatures. The CRYO2 fuel bar is chilled to -80 degrees accrording to the CRYO2.com website. Jay and Chris at www.theautoaddiction.com in Long Isand, NY did the work and I highly recommend them for this job or any other performance work that you might want done on your Mercedes. These guys know our cars inside and out.

I still want to run some more tests, (data logger) to be specific, but based on the results that I have obtained thus far, I think I have just about solved the heat soak issue that I was experiencing. This morning, I took my car to the dyno, and typically my first pull is the best with horsepower falling by about 8hp after each pull. Today, that was not the case. Although I had some complications (base run done wih my AC on), my last dyno was just as strong if not stronger than my first. Note that I did each run 14-15 minutes apart.

Here is a video of what the CO2 system looks like in action.
